About Global Triumph

Global Triumph is a hybrid of a real-time and a turn-based war game.  You log in to develop bases and units, move units, and set attacks in real-time.  However, the attacks are processed once a day during the Daily Cycle (in the order in which they're set).

The objective of the game is to capture land.  You can work alone, or work with other players via alliances, treaties, etc.

Global Triumph is operating in an open pre-Alpha mode, which means we're allowing you to play while the game is being developed.  Elements of the game may change at any time, and you're likely to encounter an occasional bug.  Please feel free to report it, and please bear with us.

Getting Started

Once you join and create your country, you'll want to create a land base on your capital.  Click the capital sector, then click the "create" icon in the "land base" row.  Your land base will then allow you to create land units.  Just click the base's sector, then click the "create" icon in the "land unit" row.

You can create a construction truck if you'd like, but you probably won't need one until you expand your country a bit and need additional bases further out.  Please be sure to review the Land Units section below to help shape your development strategy.

When you create a unit on your land base, you can immediately move that unit onto a nearby sector.  Click the unit's sector, then click the "move" icon in the "land unit" row.  You can then use the base to create additional units, if you'd like.

After moving your units into place, you'll want to set attacks to grab more land.  Click the unit's sector, then click the "attack" icon in the "land unit" row.  Your attacks will all be carried out during the next Daily Cycle.

Daily Cycle

Each morning at 4:00am Central, the game processes its "Daily Cycle."  During the Cycle, attacks are processed (in the order they are set) and money is gained (based on the amount of raw material in your land).

You are automatically blocked from the game while the Cycle runs.

Sectors

CapitalRadiationDefenseBridge

The map is made up of squares called "sectors."  Each sector has its own properties, such as a name and raw material level.  The more sectors you own, the more materials are gathered and the more money you gain during each Cycle.

Clicking a sector opens the control menu.  The menu automatically displays the options available to you for that sector.  Hovering over an icon will identify it.

Land sectors can be capitals, can contain radiation, and can contain defensive turrets.  Water sectors can contain bridges that allow land units to cross over them.

Protecting your capital is a primary objective.  When it's occupied by an enemy, you earn only a fraction of your normal income during the Daily Cycle.

Defensive turrets provide protection from land and air attacks.  They cost $500 to develop.

Bases

Land BaseAir BaseSea Base

Global Triumph has three types of bases: land, air, and sea.

A land base can be built on your capital or on any sector containing a construction truck.  The land base can then be used to build land units.  Its cost is $2,500.

An air base can be built on any sector containing a construction truck.  The air base can then be used to house and launch jet, missile, and bomb attacks.  Its cost is 2,500.

A sea base can be built on any sector containing a construction truck that is also adjacent to water.  The sea base can then be used to build sea units.  Its cost is 2,500.

Land Units

Construction TruckInfantryJeepTank

Land bases can be used to create four types of land units: construction trucks, infantry, jeeps, and tanks.  Each unit is created with a strength of 1, but can be developed up to a strength of 9 while on a land base (or by merging units).

Constructions trucks can create land bases within their current sector.  They can move 4 sectors and can attack 4 sectors per turn.  They have low attack power, but heavy armor.  They cost $2,500 to develop.

Infantry can move 6 sectors when on a land base and can attack 9 sectors per turn.  They have low attack power and low armor.  They cost $100 to develop.

Jeeps can move 8 sectors when on a land base and can attack 12 sectors per turn.  They have medium attack power and medium armor.  They cost $500 to develop.

Tanks can move 6 sectors when on a land base and can attack 9 sectors per turn.  They have high attack power and heavy armor.  They cost $900 to develop.

Sea Units

TransportsWarships

Sea bases can be used to create two types of sea units: transports and warships.  Each unit is created with a strength of 1, but can be developed up to a strength of 9 while adjacent to a sea base (or by merging units).

Transports can be used to carry land units across water.  They can move 11 sectors while adjacent to a sea base and can attack 17 sectors per turn.  They have low attack power and heavy armor.  They cost $700 to develop.

Warships can move 11 sectors while adjacent to a sea base and can attack 17 sectors per turn.  They have high attack power and heavy armor.  They cost $1,500 to develop.

Air Units

Air Base

Air bases can be used to store and launch three types of air units: jets, missiles, and bombs.

Jets can be transferred up to sectors and can attack a distance of 250 sectors per turn.  They have medium attack power and medium armor.  They cost $800 to develop.

Missiles can be transferred up to sectors and can attack a distance of 500 sectors per turn.  They have a damage radius of 2 sectors.  They have very high attack power and medium armor.  They cost $4,000 to develop.

Bombs can be transferred up to sectors and can attack a distance of 1200 sectors per turn.  They have a damage radius of 4 sectors and create radiation.  They have devastating attack power and heavy armor.  They cost $160,000 to develop.
