I saw this mentioned on another thread, but there wasn't a definitive answer as to whether this was updated. If you set a CT to attack perpetually, does it attack the full 8 sectors? Right now I'm manually moving 4 and attacking 4 each turn, which is time consuming with the amount of CT's lurking around.

Set it to perpetually attack before manually moving it, and it`ll move 8 squares
